FERTILITY

Whether you are just starting to think about trying for a baby or have been struggling to conceive for some time, working 1:1 with a Registered Nutritional Therapist will be a hugely positive experience. Numerous studies highlight specific nutrition and lifestyle interventions to support your fertility, whether that is through natural conception or ART (Assisted Reproductive Technology) such as IUI/IVF/ICSI.

What you do today, will impact the quality of your eggs and sperm in 2-3 months time as we know that the process of egg maturation takes over 3 months and spermatogenesis (sperm production) takes 72 days. Likewise, we know certain factors can reduce the quality of the egg and sperm, leading to negative outcomes and lost time and potentially money.

Working on your nutrition for a minimum of three months will really lay the foundations of a healthy diet and lifestyle, not only supportive of your fertility but of the health of your future baby/babies. During this time, an important part of the process will be to run some additional tests to rule out certain scenarios that may be impacting your fertility and to seek the appropriate treatment if required.
